Launch of Implementation Science Chairs
Message from Dr. Christine Chambers

I’m delighted to announce the launch of a new funding opportunity to support up to four Implementation Science Chairs in Human Development, Child and Youth Health. This investment of $4 million over five years will support expanded capacity for early- and mid-career researchers who can advance implementation science within the field of human development, child, and youth health. One of the chair positions is dedicated specifically to supporting Indigenous health research. Our motivation for launching this opportunity is to support progress in our mandate area to translate research into real-world benefits, improve health and well-being outcomes, and address complex challenges to integrating evidence into practice and policy. Please share this opportunity with your networks.

Sincerely,

Christine
Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health
